Few Things We Should Learn From Eagle

One day an eagle will fly higher than any eagle has ever flown before. The sky is a living, ever-present challenge the eagle will never conquer, nor will the sky ever tame the will of the eagle. This endless pursuit, beyond any reach, could be perceived by the eagle as the pursuit of excellence.
There was a large mountainside where an eagle’s nest rested. The eagle’s nest contained four large eagle eggs. One day, an earthquake rocked the mountain causing one of the eggs to roll down the mountain to a chicken farm, located in the valley below. The chicken knew that they must protect and care for the eagle’s egg, so an old hen volunteered to nurture and raise the large egg. One day, the egg hatched and a beautiful eagle was born. Sadly, the eagle was raised to be a chicken.
Soon, the eagle believed he was nothing more than a chicken. The eagle loved his home and family but his spirit cried out for more. While playing a game on the farm one day, the eagle looked to the sky above and noticed a group of birds soaring in the sky. "oh," the eagle cried, "I wish I could soar like those birds". The chickens roared with laughter, "You cannot soar with those birds. You are a chicken and chicken do not soar"
The eagle continued staring at this family up above, dreaming that he could be with them. Each time the eagle would let his dreams be known, he was told that " chickens do not soar". The eagle, after sometimes, stopped dreaming and continued to live his live life a chicken.

Finally, after a long life as a chicken, the eagle passed away without soaring for once". The strength to soar is in us but it’s left for us to decide how far we can go. "Every great dream begins with a dreamer.You have within you the strength, the patience and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world" -Harriet Tubman-

You become what you constantly think about. The desire, the strength to soar even higher than the eagle is in you. We were wonderfully created by God with these wonderful abilities. It is left for us to decide how high we can soar. Remember, you cannot become an eagle while you are thinking like a chicken. Follow your dreams not the words or direction of the chickens.

Taking Personal Responsibility
Each time you make a responsible decision, you become a more responsible person. Successful people don’t blame others, they take responsibility for their actions and attitudes. They show response-ability, the ability to choose a correct response no matter what situation they face. Responsibility is always a choice, and you make it. If being responsible hasn’t been one of your strengths, then start small. You can’t start from any place rather than where you are right now.
